🩺 Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025 at GMCH Chandigarh: How to Apply, Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit, and Relaxation

🎓 Essential Qualifications: 

You can apply if you meet either of the following criteria:

Option A:

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Regular B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute

• Registered as RN or RN & RM with the State Nursing Council

                      OR

Option B:

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized Board

• Registered as RN or RN & RM with State Nursing Council

• One year of experience in a 50-bedded hospital

🕒 Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years
  Age relaxation is available as per government norms for SC, OBC, PwBD, Central Govt. employees, and Ex-Servicemen.

💼 Selection Process:

The recruitment is purely based on a written examination. No interview!

Written Test Breakdown:

• Part 1: Subject Knowledge (70 marks)

• Part 2: Practical-based Assessment (30 marks)

• Total: 100 marks

• Duration: 2 hours

• Medium: English

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer

👉 Cut-Off Marks:

• UR/OBC/EWS: 50%

• PwBD: 45%

• SC: 40% 

Candidates who qualify both parts will be called for document verification and counselling in a 1:5 ratio.

• SC: ₹800/-

• PwBD: Exempted
