KGMU Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025:

4. The online registration and submission schedule will be published on the website. Just so you know – the examination will be conducted according to the notified schedule.

Eligibility and Vacancies:

Essential Qualifications:

1. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized institute/university OR B.Sc. (Post certificate)/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized institute/university.

2. Registered as a Nurse & Midwife in the State/Indian Nursing Council.
                                             OR

3. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized institute/university.

4. Registered as a Nurse & Midwife in the State/Indian Nursing Council.

5. Two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds after obtaining the required qualification.

Note: Candidates must produce a valid Uttar Pradesh/Indian Nursing Council Registration Certificate during document verification.

Application Process:

1. Online Registration: Visit www.kgmu.org/job.php and click on "Registration for New Users".

2. Receive Credentials: After registration, login details will be sent via SMS and email.

3. Form Submission: Log in, complete the application form, and upload the required documents.

4. Fee Payment: The application fee must be paid online only. Ensure payment is completed before the deadline to avoid network issues.

5. Final Submission: Once submitted, no changes can be made. Keep your Application Sequence Number and Password for future reference.

Common Recruitment Test (CRT):

•  Duration: 2 hours

• Total Marks: 100

• Format: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs)

• Language: English and Hindi

Marking Scheme:

• Correct Answer: +1 mark

• Incorrect Answer: -1/3 mark (negative marking)

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• General/OBC/EWS: 50%

• SC/ST: 45%

Selection Process:

1. Candidates will be shortlisted based on CRT scores. There is no interview as per "The Uttar Pradesh Direct Recruitment to Junior Level Posts (Discontinuation of Interview) Rules, 2017".

2. The Final Merit List will be prepared based on CRT marks for each category separately.

3. Document Verification will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.

4. Appointment Letters will be issued after successful verification.

Additional Information:

• Admit cards will be available on the KGMU website. No hard copies will be sent.

• The examination center will be allocated by KGMU, Lucknow.

• No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the examination.

• In case of multiple shifts, a normalization formula will be applied.
